Infertility is a significant problem, affecting one in three couples in the US. Assisted Reproduction now represents a three billion-dollar-a-year industry. One cycle of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) alone will cost between $15,000-$25,000. If you have clients who are dealing with this issue, this is a class you will need.
Claire Marie Miller’s techniques are proving to support both natural conception and those requiring assistance. Many of her demonstration students have reported conceiving within 24 hours to 6 months of receiving this protocol and practicing this work. The students who are using this protocol report back positive results with their clients as well. One student had 10 of her 12 women conceive after this work. Two Atlanta students had been trying for five years and were told they would not conceive -- came back one year later as pregnant moms for the Nurturing the Mother® Pregnancy Massage workshop -- six months and eight months pregnant.
This expanded two-day course will give the massage/bodywork therapist special techniques to support a couple planning to conceive. Claire offers a multi-faceted approach to the emotional and personal journey around fertility for your clients. Added to this class is the anatomy of fertility, infertility conditions, and fertility awareness information. Developing referrals to alternative healthcare professionals is equally in important in your practice. This is a protocol that you may use with natural methods, or medically supported conception. The techniques involve a combination of cranial sacral alignment, reflexology, colon cleansing, and deep pelvic work. This work honors sacred sexuality -- and your client's process of reclaiming her body. You will also be able to teach couples work they can do with/for each other.
For certification, the submission of one case study and a review and write-up of three designated books is required. A certification processing fee of $25 is paid to Claire Marie Miller Seminars, Inc. along with the certification requirements.
Throughout the world, and across time, massage has been used to support women during the childbearing year. In keeping with this tradition, Claire Miller has developed a program which integrates the mystery and power of the birth experience with sound clinical knowledge and effective methods for prenatal and perinatal massage.
The course includes the following content areas:
Through demonstration and practice, in the sharing of our stories, and in the willingness to be present with the heart, mind and spirit of the birth process, we will open ourselves to the transformation which occurs for all those involved in a birth.
NOTE: The workshop fee includes a 108-page training manual. Birth videos will be interspersed as time allows. You will also have the opportunity to participate in an optional "Blessing Way" Navaho birth ceremony to be held one evening during the program. (This will occur if there is enough interest.)
