Will be on the ground in less than a week, you can see by my excessive posting its all I'm thinking about. It was 12 degrees yesterday morning but warmed up to a high of 28 and was actually "nice" out but not as nice as flip flops and a T Shirt.

Did I mention this is all I'm thinking about ?

So I need intel - what is the deal on the ground ? Where are the Chica's at? I will assume the Cocal but who knows - last trip 6 / 7 weeks ago the Cocal was decent but not a great selection.

I wanted to do a day or two in SJO find the Chica of my dreams and rent her for the week, but none of the group wants to do that so I was out voted.

What is the current rate ? Are they still asking for $150 and taking $100 or $80 ? I know prices are higher in the Jaco Beach area but not sure if the girls are trying to jack us as lots of guys will in town for SuperBowl. I know its supply and demand and the rumor mill all contribute to the pricing ...

Been here all week. All action is at Cocal til 11 then Le Loft, then some go to Monkey Bar. Lots of hardcore girls here. Cien is the norm asking price and some will not budge off that.

No he was not talking about Celcius. A freak snowstorm hit Costa Rica. Snow on the beaches and in the trees everywhere. This was the first time the K*ds have seen snow. People were out rolling in the snow. They called off school so the K*ds could enjoy the moment. It was all gone the next day, but it was amazing.

Just returned from 5 days in Jaco - agree 100% with the above, however they also frequent the Beatle Bar after 11PM (they thankfully shut the music down at 11PM - great if you are staying at the Cocal, or the Vista next door) - if you are a newbi, or have just a few trips, you will love it (many ask $150....or more) - I personally found Cocal filled w/ hard core girls, although there are "opportunities" :wink: - if mongering is your thing, San Jose is a far better venue.

You go to the beach for sun, waves and a change of pace. To get laid, nothing beats the gulch in CR. I like my two spinners at a local MP, a great 4 handed rub down and complete service for 30K, 1 hour, plus a shower together. Daytimes at the HDR if you hunt you can find a gem for 35K, sometimes less. Amazes me why anyone would give up $150 unless it came easy to them.

A1NYC, one reason, the big spenders who'll pay $2K or more a day to go fishing out of Los Suenos hit Jaco at night. To them $150 is chump change.

funny but I have never had a girl at jaco or the del rey ever start more then $100 (then talk down or get anything I want extra).. If any girl started at $150 I would just :roll: and walk away... always more girls then guys at both places.. many girls go home with no money..remember you have many to pick from, if a girl thinks you got to have her, her price will go up!!!

Why would the same girl, working at a massage parlor during the day for some percentage of $30, $40, or $50, start at $100 in the DelRey, Sportsmans, or Key Largo - its the venue - I would expect to see more starting higher at the Cocal, and/or not backing off the price, due to the expectations of the location, as well as the more affluent? newbi? nature of the place.

They only have a few days and there back in the USA with the wife, so they pay the asking price
