There is a site on the internet where you can put a copy of a picture and it will search all the places on the intenet that the same picture is located. It is very helpful in finding out if a picture is legit or not.

Like another poster, I was pulled in by one of the tantra ads currently running on CL. Made the call for "Candy" got to someone, woman, weak english. Gave my hotel room # and phone, first name. "Little while" I was told. WTF will that mean, I wonder.
50 mins later knock at door. Typical face away from the peephole routine I've seen elswhere, but I can always cab fare her and send her away. Not the woman in the pic, but quite attractive. At the moment, most FLs at Manhattan are from Vietnam. Still plenty from Philippines although they are having a hard time getting visas to China at the moment. The few Chiense at Manhattan are generally older in age.

Yeah, I took this out for a spin but I really dont think its worth the effort or the risk. The girls I spoke to were asking for 1000rmb for 2 hours and insisting that I wear a condom for something as non life-threatening as a BJ. There is no point to this in a city like Shanghai. Go to Manhattans at around midnight, not to take a girl home just get the cell numbers then you can negotiate and you know exactly who will show up at your door. Most of the Fillipinas will spend the whole night with you for less than the prices I was quoted over the phone by Chinese girls that I've never even met.

I've tried CL a few times here in China -- mostly before I found this site and started learning more about the scene.

I never once got the girl in the photo so remove that idea from your head. I always ask and usually get told yes, but ends up not being her. To do it now I'd use that to obtain a lower fee at the door, or else say good bye.

There is an agency in Shenzhen which I used and found good. I asked if it's the girl in the photo and she replied no. The honesty shocked me a little. She asked me to describe the girl I wanted and that's exactly who showed up. Discussed all prices on the phone call -- they won't want to but it prevents the upsell. Told them if it was not what I described I would not pay, not even taxi fare. They agreed and things worked out well.

I can probably find the ad again if anyone is heading down that way and is interested.

I had some free time a couple of mornings ago and hadn't checked out Craigslist, so it was more out of curiosity than anything else that I started browsing. I hadn't planned on calling any of them, but wouldn't rule it out in the future. I'd have to really be keen on a particular girl rather than just be in the mood for some action.

The girl standing on the side of the road's profile looked genuine to me. I am not sure about the other one. Perhaps new (genuine) girls copy-and-paste existing (agency) girls' advertisments as they don't know what to write themselves. But I have seen this exact wording: "i have 2years experience in chinese body masage and oil massage" too many times on different ads... I am suspicious of the second listing.

I found it strange that most of the Shanghai listings quoted prices but not the listings for other cities.

To me, a good test of whether it's genuine or not is how often the ad has been placed. If it's agency, I guess it would be listed over and over again many times each day by their paid administrative staff. But if it's an independent girl, she wouldn't have time. I suppose then it would be possible for a rough diamond or two to be hiding among the rubble of agency listings; but many pages back and swamped by the constant re-listing of agency fraud-merchants.

All of the ads you listed look like agency ads and my guess is that you probably will not get the girl in the picture or the price quoted.

Here are a couple of ads that look more legit (i.e. the ad makes claims that the girl you see is the girl you will get or send me home).

I used two criteria to determine if the add was possibly legit:
1. Did they say the picture was them
2. Did they say they speak good english

With this criteria all I had to do was call the cell phone and the girl that answers better speak good english (which is kind of relative) and I asked them if the picture in craigslist is what I am going to see. If not then don't bother showing up.

I called one girl and she passed both tests. Her ad only said massage, so when I asked her how much for FS she wanted to know when I wanted to make the appointment. I told her I was not in China yet and she told me to call her when I was in Shanghai for more details. That reply actually made me more comfortable that she might actually be real. She is Lucy (the girl with out a top) in the first post of this thread.

I would have considered her but I had too many good options already so I didn't want to take the gamble.

By the time one of them turns up she will bust ur balls for 300 for the 'massage' which you can guarantee will be crap and she will probably be dressed as well.
