Excuse me for correcting you: you were shown 10 beautiful MONTERREY girls.
Monterrey girls are diffrent from girls from Mexico City as they are from girls of the Southern part of our country and in the same way, girls from Monterrey are in no way similar to girls in Pero, Venezuela, Argentina or Brazil.

One of the moderate priced hotels and that is good, certified by many of the mongers visiting Monterrey is the Plaza del Arco. 2.5 blocks away from the bus station.

I have taken the bus from NL to Monterrey and beyond several times. Just cross the bridge and get a taxi to the bus station. It is about 3 or 4 miles away and the taxi cost me $5 a couple of weeks ago. 1st class ticket to Monterrey was $18 and it was a 3 hour ride. Everything you need in Monterrey is with in walking distance of the bus station. A nice hotel can be had for $50, look in Fromers for a list of less expensive ones. Monterrey is safe, reasonably priced, and had alot of variety. The info from Amigomio was dead-on accurate (thanks alot amigomio).

I think you can get a bus from the US side... am sure of that.
The trip is 2 hours on a freeway (be sure when you buy your ticket, that the bus takes the toll highway) and the bus station is a couple of blocks away from hotles where mongers visiting Monterrey have stayed at...
And yes, Monterrey is much much safer than NL BT... although there is no Zona and everything is spread out....

I am traveling to Texas in August and wanted to take a trip into Boystown in Nuevo, but with all the problems there right now I am considering coming to Monterey.

If I go to Monterey how do I get a Bus from Nuevo? Better yet can I get a bus from the US side to Monterey?

Secondly how far of a trip is it?

Iam not partial to SW cause they are the bottom of the barrel here in Monterrey.
SW stand on Reforma st, from Cuahutemoc St to Rayon St, all close to short term hotels. These girls start strutting their stuff around 1-2 pm up to the wee hours of the morning.
There is another bunch of girls that start showing themselves after 3 pm on Colon Ave, starting one block West of Bernardo Reyes St on the Soriana Supermarket sidewalk, up to Miguel Nieto St. (2 blocks total) The girls tend to dissapear after nightfall cause after work hours they are easy prey to the police.
At night time on Madero St. after Zaragoza st. Eastward, some girls might pop up, but they are mixed with TVS.
Prices: Reforma St girls charge from 100 to 200 pesos, the rest charge 400 pesos.
And yes, the clubs might be more expensive, but there you can find many more girls in a much better setup.
