Hi everyone,

I am new to this site.  I own my own mobile day spa.  I am a licensed esthetician.  I hire independent contractor massage therapist to work my spa parties.

I would love feedback on my website.  It is not complete yet, there will be a few minor changes and additions over the next 2 -3 weeks.  But otherwise it is all set.

Take a look and feel free to give me any feedback you feel will help with my contact with the public, marketing, etc.

It looks great. It is warm and inviting. The pictures are nice and relaxing. YOu did a great job. I have one question for you. How did you get all the different kinds of writing in yours. I am putting together a new site and I just can't seem to get the writing to stand out. Anyways,  your site looks great! I really do like the pictures along the top and bottom. The colors are nice. They aren't bright or overwelming. Good work.

Jenny,Thanks for the feedback.  I did all the typing for the "pages" and my son does all the programming.  I would not know how to put it together to get it on the website, but I have experience in graphic design so that part was easy for me.  So I guess my answer would be the software you create your pages in.  Talk to whoever is doing your website - a programmer can do the programming with any pages almost.  If they are using a "package" that creates the website then you can only use what the package offers.Hope this helps.  If you decide you need help - my son builds websites for a reasonable fee.  Let me know if you want to have him contact you.

MT and Web designer here.  Here's my once-over-lightly.  The site is lovely.  I love the colors.  Navigates fine.  Loads quickly (but I have a T-1 here). A couple of things that aren't TERRIBLE - just off a little for me.1.  Services page.  It's a little redundant to see the two button menus and not much else.  Could you put a quick teaser next to each service button to say what it is?  And the link button to get there - how come you put that text in red instead of the sagey color?  I know people are looking for that - but stay consistent with the colors.  2.  On the About Us page.  The two buttons at the bottom.  Could you just do a pop-up window for each of those?  The pages they bump to are just so stark compared to the rest of the site.  Also - it looks like you've switched from the sage Times to the black Time italic.  Pick one and be consistent.I think the catering menu could be linked off the services page - but that's just me.  I was wondering why Spa To Go was doing catering when I saw the button on the home page.  I would just code the menu instead of using the menu graphic - again, to keep it consistent with the rest of the site.--Jenna

Hi Purrkitty, the look is quite nice, hold off on the multiple fonts though, it's not professional. Stick to two and definitley no more than three. Keep them closely related if possible, perhaps from the same font family. Not more than three font sizes either. Heading, sub-heading & text.Use text instead of text as a graphic, better for search engines.My biggest tip... visit http://www.webstyleguide.comBe well.

It is beautiful.. I like it very much!The only thing that bugs me is having to scroll to the left and right, as well as up and down, to view the entire screen.  If it could just be up and down, that would be much easier to navagate.

The site is quite attractive but you possibly forgot that it's the WORLD WIDE WEB and there is only one place that mentions what city/state you're in.  Search engines will look for key words like "massage" and "spa" and even the name of your city and state.  Help the search engines help you and place your address on the home page somewhere and maybe a description of your service area.  I found out this kind of thing the hard way but my site has now had over 37,000 hits and brought a lot of business my way.  You should also consider reciprocal link exchanges with other massage sites.  I'd be happy to get you started with that.  Again, the site looks really good, just need to tweak it to make it work for you.

You form these business relationships by promoting your business in other ways. Work with chiropractors and local medical centres. Hey Kitty,You have a couple of spelling mistakes on the home page.  In the first couple of lines the word huge is spelt hugh......and occasion should only have one s.  (i did the same thing myself!)You site is really nice.  I agree with the others on the fonts....the one that is kinda hard to read is on the menu pages where you list what you offer....it's has a shadow and I find it a little difficult to read.  and just one more thing.....the picture on the media page.....I'm not sure I like it...at first it was really hard to tell what it is...looks like a man and a woman's hands but I have to tell you when I first saw it I thought it looked weird.  I really liked the rest of the pics at the top of the page!great job!  Keep up the good work!Tera @ http://www.puremassage.bizmines not perfect either.....seems to always be a work in progress!

I enjoyed looking through the site. Is very nice w/ a touch of class.However, I must agree on two previous comments. The light green font on the home page is difficult to read...and I would suspect anyone with vision issues would also have a tough time reading it. I don't have any vision issues, yet still I had to adjust my focus to zero in.I also agree w/ terab about the hand pic. Takes a second and third look to make out what it is...particularly on the home page banner..looks like a bunch of legs (at first glance). The other pictures are great...and I do like the elegant style they exude..Best wishes.

Thank you for all the wonderful feedback!  I will make sure to get those changes made soon - I don't know if I can change the photo of the hands - one massaging the other - but I can fix the typo's and the letter color.
