Tanjong Pagar/ Duxton Updates

Have not cheong these areas (5 yrs) for a long time now and after hearing so much raids at these places, decided to see how the places are now.
Went down on Reviewi after work to have a drink. Had in mind to recce ***m which some bro mentioned here. Was there early..about 6pm. Wah!! Realised that majority of the pubs along Tg Pagar area have closed down with many bridal shops setting up bases.

Walked around and happened to see a group of about 5 pinays entering one joint (someting T****). Walked past that and headed straight to ***m.

Reached ***m and saw that nobody inside...nvr mind cos still early so entered. The bartender looked at me like I going to rob him (or think maybe I 'anpai'). Sat at the bar and ordered a mug of beer. Started a chit chat with him to put him at ease. About 6.40pm, a group of 6 to 7 pinays came in and sat at two tables opp. the bar. Also gave suspicious looks at me...knew like that no chance to ask them to sit with me liao so ignore them and continued with me beer and chit chat with the bar tender who now I found out is the boss. Was told that his joint has late crowds. place was quite big (2 floors). Din stay long. Finished up two beers paid and left. As I was about to leave, a SYT smiled at me...Hiaz...should have stayed longer.

Sure missed those good old days where it was so happening in the area with some many SYTs to choose Reviewom. Managed to up one then and it was so unforgetable.

At this kind of timing, you should have just bought a can of beer Reviewom 7-11 and hang around the 7-11 food counter. You would have been able to see the same number of pinoys inside 7-11 too. Cheaper. Seriously dude, are you in your late 40s or fifties? Most of the pinoys in duxton these days are pretty fat and old. They only look good inside the pub because the inside of the pub is too dark.

I go jc with Reviewiends. Seated for quite long until 1 gal approach us. We jokingly mention we must be damn ugly cos no gals come over. Tat gal mention we look like mata with short clean haircut. So dare nit come over.

I am pinay lover but I agree with bro Xgenre that they look good coz of darkness inside the pub. In fact they are not as sexy as they look when you view them in broad day light.

In past the quality use to be much better.
