If the spa is licensed and the girls are licensed everything would be fine. It was mentioned earlier that by law doesn't care about services, its true. They need revenue because Covid $$ is gone and now they're returning to their old annoying ways. I remember years ago they did this and its more an inconvenience than anything else. Having to walk out the back mid session because they wont let you bust ur nut really ticked me off lol

The problem is not all the girls are licensed. Some places are using a 1 rmt and 2 assistant, but I don't know enough bylaw to know if that is allowed, or if it's the way forward.

It's true bylaw doesn't care about what's behind closed doors. But the girls were a bit more psychologically afraid officers would open the door, so they offered less. Think once a week has passed and they aren't as spooked it'll be more clear to them

Covid was a different set of variables. Noone was watching!!

I'm pretty sure if they suspect that a spa is operating when it shouldn't be, they will observe.

Who said no one was watching in Covid shut down. The Bylaw was going around checking the doors and put some tapes on top corner of the doors like a seal to see if someone was using the spas or not. SL had some girls working using back doors and so was JR. Even if they found the seal was broken at the front, there's nothing they could do. We can just say we were there to pick up something or doing some cleaning. At one point I was using sauna with a girl and someone was banging the front door. I didn't even bother going out to look who was banging the door. ,

Yeah but it wasn't just MPs during Covid. Noone was supposed to be open.

Also there weren't that many customers or girls for that matter that wanted to chance it.

I deal with by law all the time. Not in RH but they’re all the same. Lazy municipal government workers. Once someone complains, they are deemed to be put on notice and have to act. Whether your neighbour isn’t cutting his grass, tree limb falls over your fence or fence down etc.
with more spas and their neon signs than Tim Horton coffee shops, they are no longer an obscure presence. Rather in your face operations. The food court mentality in this case absolutely back fired. Instead of everyone thriving, everyone will likely be shut down. If not directly then by fines.

You got the point of this action. It is all about the complaints from many different sources for years ...
They have to do "something" especially th election day is coming very soon....

It’s not a Federal issue but the federal MP may have also gotten complaints and passed down the message to the city.

To be fair, some of these girls already hint they want to find a boyfriend. Why don't you take them up on it

Some spas are definitely slower these last couple of days. Their signs are on and from the outside everything seems normal...so I'm guessing for those particular spas, a lot of their traffic does come from MassagePlanet. If the customers were regular Joes that never came to this forum, how would they know what's going on?

According to the info from reliable sources, this is just a temporary measures taken by the licensing authorities and By law due to some complaints. They have no intention to shut down all the spas.

The last temporary measure lasted years. A license requirement is a license requirement. Bylaw enforcement's whole job is to enforce bylaws. If they are not going to follow up then why bother having them in the first place.

I was at SL East this morning and everything seems normal. All the spas in the mall has their open sign on, There was no receptionist at SL but Yui greeted me from the back room. While I was in the room there were action outside. Phone calls, door bells etc. Also saw a blonde hair girl with round face. No idea who that is.

Other than not posting roster and saying they have an RMT all the time, operation on the ground has not change as far as I can tell.

Now I am a repeat with Yui, so I don't know if new walk-ins are treated differently.

many years ago there was a thread on the "Red Board " regarding forum members vs forum active members ... essentially the moderator(s) stated that approximately only 10% of the forums members were "active", meaning they had made a post ....... it was discovered that even if a member made one (1) single post , they were considered an " active member " ... so yea I would say there are hundreds upon hundreds of non active members following these threads , which I believe would certainly impact these spas
