Went there with a friend after the final F1 race --- whom I incidentally won a beer bet from after betting on Vettel, by the way --- so very much appreciated the uniforms. Perhaps it was too late, but the girls seemed totally oblivious of our existence. And we where the only customers in the place. Reminded me too much of home.

At least get some BF’ables in there and it might have a chance. But that’s just my opinion. Might be back if they can cook up some decent burgers though. One thing that Kamala is lacking.

The new bamboo style bars down on the beach opposite the Beach Road 7-11 where a great laugh and a good vibe going on and I hope they can stay!

I totally agree with these sentiments.

There's more than once where i've looked at what little amount TGF earns and thought why not just send money and tell her don't bother working but it just doesn't work like that.

You could send a shedload of money and it won't make up for the little day to day social interaction people get. Plus, they are not sitting around all day bored and wondering what you are up to without them.

Where is the loss of face when you are sitting at home by yourself with no-one to talk to? I know one TG whose BF sent her 1Mil Baht and still went to work in the bar every day for social contact and to keep a normal routine going.

Totally agree....they should just hand the kitchen over to the lesbian burger queens who operate at night time on Soi San Sabai...they would get it sorted

The joint doesn't make sense without food and I think they have made a big mistake in opening without it...or at least putting on some free stuff for regular drinkers....you won't see me eating one of those curled up pies or sausage rolls from the pie warmer...I'd sooner take my chances with a street vendor....Its a shame because the owners are decent guys and they have made a real investment here

nothing does, you just have to do what you feel is good for you. doesn't mean you are doing it better than me or I am doing it better than you

there is obviously cases of just downright foolishness but it seems a lot of people on this forum just think they are the ones doing it right and the rest are idiots

i would have zero desire to do most things that you have done in your relationship G and that is not a knock on you because I am sure there is many things in my relationship that you would not be interested in or would have done

now i think i have done the right things for my relationship as i am sure feel the same way about yours, but that doesn't mean the next guy is doing it wrong because he's not doing it our way

Yeah and mst of the items quoted are approx B100 per portion cheaper in Patts- I must fly up there and save some money!!:rules: Had a great F&C up there B120, and most entrees never over B150- guess its the Phuket markup.
