Best NightLife Spots? Phuket, Samui, Pattaya, BKK?

I am heading to thailand again in less than 2 months. So excited, since I just came back in January. This time I am going with two of my friends, and this is my itinerary so far : BKK (1 night), Pattaya (1 night), Samui (4 nights), Phuket (7 nights).

Just curious, where else I should go for night life? I want to visit other places, but don't know where to start. From Phuket, doing over-night trips to PhiPhi and Krabi Islands. I would like to know where else to go for night life? Should I stay in Pattaya longer than 1 night? I love LOW SEASON, the hotel prices were insane when I went in Late Dec to Early Jan.

1st off, I agree with what IJ is saying, too much travelling on such a tight schedule is not that enjoyable when you could be spending longer in say, phuket and enjoying the relaxation of that more.

Regarding the best nightlife,
In fairness you have made nearly 150 posts so without wanting to sound rude, I would have thought you might have an idea about this by now ?

So I am a little surprised that you suddenly ask this question now.

My advice is always the same, don't make too much in the way of plans, (nightlife wise) rarely do people stick to them.
Just turn up in the destinations of your choice and follow your nose, you will find good things to see and do everywhere.

As for women, you will find those everywhere too

I would drop Samui. A lot more nightlife in the other places and better plane/car connections, or you have to fly BKK-Samui and Samui-Phuket with bangkok airlines. Say 2 nights BKK, 3-4 nights Pattaya and then Phuket.

sorry about the repost on almost the same topics as before. I have not been keeping up w/ the threads thats why I asked. I thought I would try something different this time around. But I always end up in Phuket regardless. But this time I want to poke my head in Pattaya (hahhaha.. sounded funny after I re-read it). I know that the travel time is about roughly an hr flight, but Koh Samui's airport is only a 20 minute or so ride to Chaweeng (sp?). But Phuket's to and from the airport is the worse, I think like 45 minutes to an hour. Bkk to the airport takes about 20 minutes using the expressway depending on the time of day as well.

I do not think I will be incurring that much travel time to these destinations. Roughly two hours for each travel. I decided to extend my stay in Pattaya for at least 2 to 3 nights as prescribed. Then its off to Koh Samui and then Koh Phuket (longest stay) venture off to PhiPhi and other surrounding islands. This trip will consist of approximately 16 nights.

Any recommendations to where to stay in Pattaya?

i will be staying at the areca hotel in patts in september reviews were good on this hotel and good location. phuket staying at sun sea sand and bangkok will be staying at silom serene 2 min from patpong and fun.

It depends what you are after in terms of nightlife as well. Do you like TG's or western girls or both.Koh samui is good for a change, there is a club there called the green mango and it is ok(plenty of bgs and western girls), and samui is just a nice place in general. You could try the full moon party at koh phangan which is only 30 minutes on a ferry from samui depending on what date you are there. That party is pretty wild though and is not everyone's cup of tea(good for western girls), too many backpackers for my liking.You have done the right thing extending your stay in pattaya(that place is full of hardcore gogo's and plenty of other nightly entertainment there my friend; clubs, bars etc)

At the end of the day destinations other than phuket a good for a change, but the love is in phuket, thats what makes me keep coming back:biggrinlo

So I have heard. Thanks, will stay there. I never been to pattaya before, but I remember about 3 years ago in NEP, Bkk. The gogo spots, all the chicks took off their clothings down to their bushes.. Is this allowed in Pattaya or has it been banned just like BKK? I think the first time I ever went to Thailand back in 2k3 was the best!! Everything was brand new and exciting.

I was in Pattaya for a week in January. Lots of the GoGos on Walking Street had some full nude dancing. Not all the time and not all the dancers that were dancing at a certain time. But it wasn't unusual to see. Perhaps it depends on the vigor of the law enforcement at the time...

Probably good you added a couple of days in Pattaya. A week was not long enough to take it all in for me.

NEP isn't my favorite place although I looked in earlier this month. Most of the time covered.

Soi Cowboy, on the other hand, is routinely and mostly topless. Quite a bit bottomless as well, mostly for various special shows--they aren't quite back to having 40-60% of the dancers doing their regular shift on seforum.xxxe in the altogether as they would have been three years ago.
