She was fired because she stated that the democrats and the media is using the impending recession/huge job losses caused by the covid-19 pandemic to get rid of Trump.

They didn't like that Trish Regan explained the people that the left is willing to cause an economical disaster and a human catastrophe just to finally get rid of Trump.

You realize that we are all going to die Pandemic or not. My best friend died from being hit by a drunk driver but I still make drunk driving jokes. 2 uncles died from cancer and I still make cancer jokes. Life goes on no matter what happens.

Can't we control the population by having fewer children (which is what is happening in most of the western world...people not having enough children to replace those who are dying).

Not every part of the world is the same. Some countries are overpopulated, ie, China, India. Some countries are underpopulated, ie, Canada, Australia. I don't feel the world is overpopulated. It just need to be spread out more evenly.

You can have COVID-19 and barely have any symptoms, or even be asymptomatic. There are a zillion people who have it and will never be tested, in addition to the totally unknown numbers of people who have already had it and recovered without getting seriously ill, if they had much recovering to do at all!

It's been well documented in many places how impossible it is to get a test, but your quoted stats are only based upon the people who were sick enough to merit a test... in many places you have to be really, really sick to qualify.

In the fullness of time it's likely to be discovered that the actual number of infected during this pandemic was massively higher than the number of confirmed cases, and so fatality rates using the official stats you quote are pretty much meaningless at this point.

When they can do full antibody testing of massive swaths of the population to see how many people have actually already acquired the virus since the outbreak started, then science will have a more accurate understanding of the morbidity rate of this disease, but it's most likely that the overall fatality rate will be way lower than 4%.

The first part of your post doesn't makes sense and the other part is wrong. Not to mention that the math in your original post is completely off.

You first said 6.2 billion infected and 37 million dead, (which incidentally according to my quick math just about equals the .5% death rate I predicted, not the 3% mentioned). Now you're saying 45 to 65 million infected? Makes no sense.

The part that's wrong is your statement indicating 566k infected as of today. Those are just the confirmed cases. In fact the actual number of people who are infected is MUCH higher, and that's good news. The higher the number of people now infected, the greater the likelihood that this virus is actually not as deadly as first thought.

Oh, and in reference to Kraygee's original point....this disease by itself will have little to no effect on world pop. Even if anything remotely like the WHO prediction referenced by Henricas came to pass (which it won't), it would still only slightly slow population growth since the number of 70k births per day is way too low.

Much as I hate to say it, Trump will be proven right...everybody back to work by Easter.
