getting away from the girlfriend

My girlfriend is very good on keeping tabs on my leisure time. I believe she suspects something's up. Besides using the excuse of going to the pub, what are some good excuses you use to buy some time away, especially later in the evening.

Buy yourself a telescope & tell her your new hobby is star gazing. Best time to view is just after ten, about an hour's drive out of the city.

I personally use car wash (open 24/7), grocery shopping (24 hr Dominions), or meeting a friend for a coffee. Or do all three and you're gone for a few hours. If I were really desperate I could look under the car hood and take it for a "test drive".

If a Significant Other is that suspicious, no amount of excuses will wash. You will get caught.

The only thing that you can do is to wait for opportunities and sieze them, like when she has to go out of town.

I usually go to the race track or casino a couple times a week.

The evening races available for wagering continue on till around 11PM, but the casino stays open till the wee hours of the morning.

I'd say 8 or 9 out of 10 times I really do go to the race track.

Watch out for the Home Depot excuse. The last time I was there (a few weeks ago) the 24 hour one was now closing at 11:00 or midnight.

I like the car wash one... I guess you say you are going to the coin-op and hit the drive through, cuz your car had better be clean when you get home...

Damn, that was handy sometimes.

Home Depot at Ellesmere and Warden is still 24 hrs I belive. If you live in the west end all the better "Damn that HD is so far now for late night runs!".

I have to agree with lap puppy. If she is already that suspicious, you probably are ging to get caught sometime.

Seize the opportunities when she is out of town or busy for the day etc.

You can always join a gym....and its a great place to shower and change before heading home ya know.....
