The casinos have basically two choices...dont' sell aclohol and allow 18 years olds in or keep it 21 and sell alcohol..I don't know if the age for visiting a prostitute woud be 18 or 21 in the States, but I think they would allow 18 if no alcohol is involved....just a guess.

Its about SECURITY ... and that will not change no matter what party is in control ..Terrorism will not stop when another president gets into office.... the reason they have pushed the dates back has nothing to do with whether or not they want it to go into effect ... it is, and they do want it to go into effect ... they have pushed it back because of the Backlog of processing the applications ...They will hire more people and catch up ... this is more about security than anything .. the fact that some states want to allow illegals to get a driver license ... is one reason why they passed the passport law .. It will be the only document that ONLY a U.S. citizen can get ..therefore the only document to prove you are a U.S. citizen ... A drivers license will not be considered as proof that you are a U.S. Citizen. Thats the bottom line ..

Well we are all entititled to an opinion. I am all for more security and protecting our country. I think the pressure to not pass the border pass or passport rule is with relations with our border countries. Tourism is big to Mexico and this law will slow tourism down.

I actually believe that a passport or border pass is a good idea, but I don't have any really strong feelings about it.

You do not have to have a Passport until June 2009 if crossing
by land and sea. They have pushed the law back several times.
Sampsonrico will back me up on this. I truly believe the law will
fail for crossing by land and sea......The reason is because a new
Democratic president will be in office by then and therefore the
economy will rebound and the new president will want to boost
the economy and by increasing our relations with Mexico it will
boost our economy so the new president will abolish this Passport
Law and you can just use a DL. Its just like the immigration issue
nothing has been accomplished because of the US needs cheap
labor and it keeps going in cycles. More and more immigrants come
to America and then we end up giving them amnesty and then the
cycle begins all over again. I believe this is what is going to happen
all the illegals are going to get amnesty eventually and we are never
going to have any control over our borders, we havent had control of
our borders for the last 40 years, do you think the government is going
to change that?? Hell no, the only way we can fix our government is to
change it and STOP dividing the power into two political parties. Two
political parties are in control and it just goes back and forth between
them and nothing gets done. Now do you see why this law will fail???

first off, no one stated you couldn't afford it ... .. but if you live in So Cal ... and you let the price of a passport stop you from going to TJ where the cost are at least 1/3 the price of most AMP and 1/4 of what any escort will charge ... the savings after 3 trips will practically pay for it... Indian Casinos have to sign packs with State Governments, and the state usually tries to make them follow the laws of the state, for example in California alcohol is cut off at 2:00AM, and local employment laws are sometimes forced upon the tribes, even though they are a sovereign nation and can basically do whatever they want, as they are exempt from having to follow our laws. I guess prostitution can happen on Indian property, but Schwarzenegger will try to get a cut of the taxes like he is doing with the slot machines.

In nevada .. right outside Vegas ... they have legal brothels ...
