Where i grew up in Sydney,a lot of cameras were put up to stop a drug trade.

After the initial onslaught,it only moved the problem further away from where the cameras were located.

I wonder what is "news" here. Just because they were busted? Although there can be probably fine Lb's out there, it always has been a higher risk to take to your room then girls.

First, they are "strong", some, how feminine looking, I would not like to get in trouble with. Second, a lot of them are saving for all kind of operations, to make them look more like a woman. So they need money, they not only get to sell their body, but also from stealing. From the first time I went to Thailand, these things happened with those "girls". Never took one home, was never tempted. But never say "no", sometimes a drink too much is enough.

IMHO the problem is the same with the girls...its not only an LB problem...

if you stick with girls or LB`s working in a bar you very seldom have any problems...(this especially goes for farang owned places)

but trying to save a few bucks on the barfine and pick a freelancer will surely increase the odds for getting problems...

perfect example that is similar to this issue but in another country. if any one of these meth heads that Vancouver caters to steal from or even intimidate any tourist coming here for the Olympics, then Vancouver failed to live up to their duty. they went out and campaigned to get the olympics and they should police it accordingly. just as a tourist going to a tourist destination marketed by that country should expect the police to take care of an obvious issue

look, when going to a 3rd world country, you can't expect it to be disneyworld but you should be able to go back to your hotel without getting assaulted. especially when its right out in the open. its not like i was walking down a dark alley

also, if you guys notice i have never made a big fuss about the LB's on Bangla Rd
i've been harrassed on Bangla Rd by them and one time they started with Ao and I when we were getting BBQ and didnt say a word to them

but i feel that if i am frequenting a red light district then i am "fair game" so to speak. i have to come to expect it

but i think you shouldn't have to put up with that stuff in front of your hotel in the toursit area
