Jen,If you have time to put one together, I really like the coupon book idea from medicine_hands. Maybe one with a $ amount off good for 2 or 3 weeks after the festival plus a couple of free add-on's with a regular priced service good for the rest of the summer. Believe me, I will be trying virtually every single thing mentioned in this thread so I can say I've given it my BEST shot. You see, I am currently renting an office at a chiro's office but it's not faring well and I'm not sure what to do about it. I'm trying to drum up business anyway I can since it doesn't seem the chiro's clients are wanting massage.Be well,Jen

well....I was going to make a bunch of rice bags for folks to buy/use as hot/cold packs but my sewing machine is on the blink so there goes that idea. Not sure what else I can do except to apply cold/wet paper towels to their necks and leave it at that.  :-/It looks like this topic is dead/buried but I just wanted to say "THANKS!" to everyone who contributed suggestions.  ;DBe well,Jen

What are the rice bags you were thinking of makeing?That sounds intresting...can you tell me how you make them etc.  That might be something I could do for the festival I'll be attending at the end of June.

The rice bags are easy to make. Take some fabric and sew it up into a small pillow (all except one end). Then pour uncooked rice or flax seed into the bag so it is about halfway full. Then sew it up completely and voila! you have a heating pad ready to nuke in the microwave. My boyfriend got my sewing machine working again and we made a small handful of them to sell at the festival. Those with the coupon booklets I'm anxious to sell should make up for the booth fee cost. I really like the idea about the "dollar items" to give away if folks either purchase an item or a massage or a few minutes on the table...maybe on the last day, I'll just give them away if folks provide their contact information for future specials I'm doing.Once again, I'm geared up for the event and I'll let y'all know how it went next week.  Be well,Jen
