What records does MW hold? Your phone number? Which is why using a burner is best.... It's also going to take a lot of work digging up all of the text logs for all conversations with MW and customers.

Also, the only thing they can go after you for is communication with the intent to procure sexual services. If your text chats were left vague and ambiguous, what do they have to go with?

Yeah selling isn’t illegal but buying is. You’re right, they typically don’t bother with them unless it was something more serious like underaged or expired visas. The entire C36 is designed to scare and intimidate but to my knowledge and I would like someone to prove me wrong, not one John has been arrested for hiring a hooker, and if there was that one case I doubt that anybody has served any jail time.
