Dunno if Doug is back to Chester, but he is definitely alive-and-kickin'. Saw interview with him on Russian TV ab. 2-3 weeks ago. He was announced as "Canadian pioneer" there - I guess he started in 1994 or even earlier? Runs several restaurant projects, plans to expand, continues to love Russia and plans to stay on.

By way of contrast, mpter being in Msocow for 10 days in October, I went to Rio de Janeiro for 10 days in November and then again just the past two weeks (all business of course) to Rio and Belo Horizonte.
