I believe that after pandemic a lot of countries will go into bankruptcy similar to what we saw in Greece and perhaps a new monetary system will be created, kind of a reset similar to what the world saw in the 1960's.

I went by the Service Ontario office a few months ago about renewing a sticker and was told I could wait until they made a public announcement about regular service resuming. So I have been driving with an expired sticker for almost one year. I was stopped by the thugs a few months ago for speeding and they said nothing about the expired sticker. I emailed in the trial option as a friend of mine who works for the province told me they'll be growing most tickets out for unreasonable delay.

The politicians have their thugs ticket us, even for small crap, but the banksters stealing BILLIONS of dollars is ok.

Everyone I know has been driving with an expired sticker including myself. If you haven't received a renewal in the mail, there's nothing to worry about.

Cops can pull you over for no reason at all. But they can't fine you for no reason. They must have witnessed you doing an infraction or something wrong with your car. I had a cop pull me over on the 401 because someone reported me of doing something wrong. But because the police didn't witness me doing anything wrong, they couldn't fine me for anything. It was simply a false claim from another driver. But the cop told me that because someone made a complaint, they had to investigate it. I told him it was a false claim, and because he didn't see any evidence of it, he just gave me a warning and let me go.

Did you do a rolling stop? They could have been doing a random check, or someone else has a similar vehicle that they're looking for. They were probably doing a check on your plate while they were following you, saw they got the wrong vehicle, and just let you go without stopping you.

I have a another story where a cop stopped me for no reason. He pulled up beside me, looked at me, and said, "oh sorry, I thought you were someone else". Cops stop people all the time. It's not against the law. They are paid to do their job.
