Surviving the market corrections

Today I was talking with a friend from massage school, and had the following realization: I've been putting out the intention, "This economy doesn't affect me." And that's exactly what I've been getting!

As new clients come in, old ones are scaling back. I've felt like I'm treading water!

"Ohhh the economy. No, the economy doesn't effect me... Ooohhh the economy! NO the economy doesn't affect me!"

There is that whole "doesn't hear negatives" thing... I think it's more about the feeling tone than the wording we put to it though. The vibration I was putting out was more like, "Everything's fine, I don't notice any difference."

An affected nonchalance ;-) Now, for affected excitement and growth—fake it til you make it!

Mmm I realize there was some fear there of creating growth and "going against the grain". Oh no, what if I don't fit in with everyone else? That's NEVER happened to ME before. ;-) Constantly amazed at what comes up...

very interesting thread! joshua, thanks for the reminder to remember that our utterances- spoken or not, really do matter! blisss, what a startling- and true- revelation! WOW! 'intent' really does matter, on many levels!!!

In my experience with the Law of Attraction, I have found that the Universe doesn't hear negatives. That means the word "no" and "not" are automatically removed from affirmations & statements of intention. So, your old intention was actually saying "the economy does effect me."

I love your new intention. Much more positive & clear!
