The club scene in Shanghai

I have travelling to China for 10 years, seen a lot of changes, especially in Shanghai. and got a lot of useful information from this forum.

Recently was introduced to the 'club' scene, where there are many many foreigners, but also freelancers, and some girls to be had free. My list of the current clubs....sorry I don't have addresses, but most can be found on the internet,

Bar Rouge - on the Bund.....Rmb 100 entrance - mainly foreigners, excellent view of the Pudong skyline. Expensive drinks, but worth it for the views. Lots of European women, some freelancers, and basically normal girls that like foreigners. Expect to pay Rmb 1500 for the night for a 'mercenary'.

Lounge 18 - in the same building as Bar Rouge, higher class, top of the society venue, Rmb 100 entrance, mainly overpaid foreign expats, and few mercenaries who will charge top dollar, from Rmb 2000 upwards, and only if she likes you !!
Real plush and stylish place, worth visiting just for the atmosphere. Very very expensive drinks.

M2 - Real Club scene, seen a few Chinese gangsters, but the main crowd young rich Chinese, and foreign students, and the most beutiful russian mercernaries, they seem to get paid good $$$ in Shanghai. A very busy and large venue, and I actually felt quite old, I'n im my late 30's.
If you're a charmer, good looking - you can probably end up getting a girl free.

Mint - newest and flashiest club in Shanghai - the place to be at the moment, with an amazing shark tank, you have to go there just to see the sharks. Long queues on the weekend, and full of foreigners, beautiful American and European students, and best looking people in Shanghai. Free to get in, but on a Saturday, expect to be on the guest list.
Mercenary scene is excellent for the moment - but girls charge from Rmb 2500 upwards. Again expect them to be choosey, I had 3 girls reject me one night, as I could not compete with the young tall, nordic, blonde haired guys, who wern't even going to the pay the girls.

The above are different scenes to the Tongren Lu, massagy places, but well worth a visit if you have the bucks $$$$$, and want to see / hook up with the most beautiful women.
